This Privacy Policy explains how 975 Zang LLC, which operates Châtelet Dallas (“Châtelet”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and shares information when you visit chatelet-dallas.com, fill in one of our forms, or subscribe to our emails. Châtelet is an event venue located at 975 N Zang Blvd, Dallas, TX 75208, United States.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Enquiry and tour requests. When you use a contact or tour form we ask for your name, email address and phone number, and, depending on the form, the type of event, your preferred date, an estimated guest count, your company name and a message.
• Newsletter sign-ups. Your first name, your email address and the page you signed up from.
• Direct contact. Anything you send us by email, phone or social media message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived (for example a search result or an ad), and campaign details in the link you followed, such as UTM tags and the Google (gclid) or Meta (fbclid) click identifier. When you submit an enquiry form, we keep the campaign details with your enquiry so we know which advertising brought you to us. This information is collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies, described below.

Advertising and analytics

We use advertising and analytics tools from Google and Meta to understand how people use the site and to measure and improve our advertising:

• Google Tag Manager, which loads the other tools.
• Google Analytics, which shows us in aggregate which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site.
• Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, which records when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to send an enquiry, and can show our ads to people who have visited the site.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which does the same for ads we run on Meta’s platforms.

These providers may set cookies on your device and receive information about your visit, including your IP address and the pages you view, and may combine it with other information they hold about you under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy. We never send the contents of your enquiry, such as your message or event details, to these advertising tools.

You can limit this tracking by adjusting Google ad settings, installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, adjusting your Meta ad preferences, or blocking or deleting cookies in your browser. The site still works with cookies blocked.

How we handle contact form information

When you send us an enquiry or tour request:

• Your details go to our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where our events team manages your enquiry, and are logged in a private Google Sheet as a backup record.
• Our team is notified by email and through our internal messaging tool, and we send you an email confirming that we received it.
• We use the information to answer your questions, arrange a tour, prepare a proposal and follow up about your event. If you came from one of our campaigns, we may also send you a short series of related emails, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• After you submit a form, the site sets a short-lived cookie so it can show you the confirmation page.

Newsletter sign-ups are stored the same way and used only to send you Châtelet news, inspiration and invitations. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run our website, hosting, CRM, email, spreadsheets and internal messaging for us, who may use it only to provide those services;
• Google and Meta, as described under “Advertising and analytics”;
• Vendors you ask us to introduce you to for your event, such as caterers or planners, and only with your agreement; and
• Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our guests or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and plan your event, and afterwards as long as needed for our business records, tax and legal obligations. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information earlier at any time, as described below.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have additional rights, such as the right to opt out of targeted advertising. To make any request, email [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Security

Our site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiry information is limited to our team and the service providers listed above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you share.

Children

This website is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
